Chapter 2502 Out

We flew out of the tomb, and once again, that dense corruption hit us; like before, it wanted to freeze our blood and burn it.

For a while, I thought the source of corruption might be in the tomb, but I was too wrong.

While the corruption in the pool was strong, it was sealed; there was barely anything coming out of it.

Most importantly, the corruption in the pool was not strong enough to affect such a large area for hundreds of years.

That corruption must be really strong, and I wanted to get my hands on it.

Now that I have got stainless lotuses, I would need a lot of corruption as I plan to grow a huge number of them.

I marked this place in a list of places I will come to investigate when I have enough time and gained enough power.

Our stealth methods are activated, and our steps are silent.

Even after the big advancements, we did not forget that there are still monsters here who have the power to kill us.

If we come across them, we will have no choice but run away.

”The jacket is good,” Sarah commented as we moved through the corrupted forest.

To that, I smiled.

I have really lucked out getting this jacket; it is all-purpose and better than all the artifacts I was wearing.

Even though I have read the information it had sent, I am still surprised by its power.

Currently, it has amplified my stealth power and increased my speed; it also looked amazing.

I am really liking this jacket.

If its defensive amplifications are as good as stealth and speed, then I will never take off this jacket unless, of course, I find something better, but that will be very hard, considering I am not able to activate its full power with my current strength.

In a few hours, we had reached the exit of the spatial realm; this time, we were much more careful.

We did not directly enter inside instead begin to investigating for signs.

The Grimms have entered this place, and who knows, they might be waiting on the other side.

So, we have to be careful lest we walk into our deaths.

A minute of the careful investigation told me there was no sign of the Grimm Monsters.

As I had expected, they did not choose this way to enter the spatial realm; they have used a different one.

There are several routes in the corrupted valley that leads to this realm, and some of them are dangerous.

I signed off a few gestures of Sarah, and she nodded.

I strode forward, and soon I passed through the spatial gap and entered the riverbed in the valley.

There were no Grimm Monsters as I had expected, but we had to be careful.

A few seconds later, Sarah walked out, and we continued our travel.

The corruption in the valley is a lot less than it is in the spatial realm, but we still kept our stealth abilities to the max; it does not hurt to be too careful.

Two hours passed, and we have finally stopped as we have reached the end of the valley and now space here, cour torn by us.

Rip!

I did not waste any time and moved my hand vertically, and the space tore open, the gap was big enough for both of us to walk in, and we did.

We traveled silently through the space sea, I, as usual, was extra careful, and it seemed as if Sarah gave me a look.

”Scared of space sea” Sarah said coldly with a faint hint of mockery.

“It happens; when some people mess with your beacon and throw you in space sea to die,” I said with a voice that was colder than ice.

It had instantly wiped out that faint mockery on Sarahs face.

The next forty seconds were completely silent before we stopped, and I tore space again, and we entered the real space, top of the Pyramids teleportation formation.

Once again, I felt immense danger before it vanished; it happens every time when one enters the Pyramid by tearing through the space.

We stepped out of the teleportation formation and walked out of the hall toward the office of the Silus bishop.

On the way, I took a couple of deep breaths to control my emotions; traveling through the space sea had brought back some the traumatic memories.

I did not want to be affected by them when I met with him, lest I say something which I regret.

Knock Knock

We knocked on his office, and it opened a second later, but as we went in, we found the projection of the Silus Bishop busy looking at the screen.

”Lord Bishop,”

We said in unison; while Sarah bowed, I did not.

He looked at us with a stressed smile before soon his eyes turned to Sarah, and a frown appeared on his face.

”Sarah, you have leveled up to Grandmaster,” He said with a frown.

It is clear that he is not happy with her breakthrough.

“You should have waited; there was still some potential to unearthed from your core before you make this extremly important breakthrough,” he added without giving a Sarah chance to explain.

I am not one bit surprised with admonishment; the supremes have deep knowledge, and they treat their most prized talents with utter strictness, wanting them to unearth all the potential they could.

So, they would be able to reach the highest stage of power.

Hearing his admonishment, a bright smile appeared on Sarahs face, which deepened the frown on Bishops face.

”Lord Bishop, the opportunity I had sensed was much bigger than what I had expected; it had helped me beyond my dreams,” she said without explaining much, obvious due to my presence.

I wonder how Sarah[AW1]  would react if she found out; I know about the opportunity she had received much better than she does.

I even have a recording of it and a sample of energy that came out of her core.
