Confession (3)

The stone walls of the dungeon were engulfed in darkness.

A palm-sized beam of moonlight seeped into the cold, dusty cell.

Tristan sat on the floor and squealed as if the morning chill coming from the stone floor made him uncomfortable.

The chains creaked.

“Dandelion, don’t die like that.

You’ll be able to go out soon anyway.

Lily will be relieved then.”

Chains were attached to cuffs around his neck, wrists and ankles.

When he stretched out his numb leg, his other bindings were pulled down at the same time.

In the end, he had no choice but to lean against the wall with his knees upright.

“As you say, Lily is attached to her family so she might just come to get you in a little while.

She never abandons her family.”

Dandelion didn’t answer.

He was leaning against the opposite wall and burying his face in his knees.

Unlike Tristan, there was no restraint on his body.

“…You lied.”

“What” Tristan frowned at the small mumble.

“You said you’d apologize to Sister.

I thought that you would be honest with her and say that you were really sorry.

What the hell did you say to my sister that she even mentioned Father” Dandelion’s voice trembled as if the sentences were already scary just by being verbalized.

His hand gripped his knee and trembled like a spider’s leg.

“You really are a genius of blame, Dandelion.” Tristan sneered.

“Lily was mad at me for trying to turn her disgusting maids into prostitutes.

But honestly, what have you done so far”

“…”

“Now your own biological sister won’t forgive you.”

Lily could not abandon her own family.

Nothing made sense.

Until now, Dandelion did not notice the discrepancy.

Goosebumps appeared on the nape of his neck.

An unfamiliar fear scratched his back.

She won’t forgive me…

Being hated by his sister was something he had never imagined since he was born.

His older sister was a person who cared for him.

He was originally born and taken care of that way.

In Dandelion’s mind, Lily had been like that all his life.

[Come to me.

Dandelion.]

[Don’t worry.]

The image of an older sister, who willingly held out her hand in response to his crooked apology, made him shudder.

The soft touch of her hand gently brushing his hair.

She was an older sister who pushed herself to help her younger brothers, and as a result, suffered.

He went to apologize to older sister but it didn’t work out.

Did he do something

[When a person dies of a disease, it is not murder, it is called misfortune.]

The deep, low voice did not leave his mind.

Dandelion had never thought that way.

Tristan mentioned something but he didn’t listen to it.

He quickly lifted his head.

Chin resting on his arm, he stared at the heavy iron gate of the prison.

“I’m going to tell my sister everything.”

Tristan’s voice was cut off.

“If I spill everything and apologize, maybe she will understand.

She might be angry, but… Still…”

“How long are you going to be so stupid”

Dandelion looked up at Tristan.

Tristan’s silhouette shone in the faint moonlight, enough to see the contempt and ridicule.

“Are you serious If it wasn’t for you, this wouldn’t have happened.

As you said, Lily is a rather manageable woman if she is weak.

You ruined it all, Dandelion.”

Dandelion wrinkled his impression.

He regained his disbelieving expression over time.

“It’s funny.

What are you talking about After all, this all happened because you have been doing a garbage business for a long time, so why are you blaming me I’ll be nice to you.”

“Calm down, Dandelion.

It’s Lily’s fault that your life has been the way it has been.

Did you already forget your begging moments”

“I…!”

“If you go back to the Isles now, don’t you know who is waiting for you Your father and Crocus.

Your sister obviously knows that and is trying to send you back…”

The rattling sound of the lock interrupted the conversation.

The metal clashed and the huge door swung open.

Hanz and Talin entered.

The judge looked down at Tristan indifferently.

“The Lord of Arcadia is here.

Let the sinner bow his head.”

The two became contemplative at the same time.

He was so tall that the iron gate seemed low for a moment.

A black uniform neatly wrapped around his strong body that looked almost steel-like.

He stepped in with a large stride befitting his long legs.

At a pace that was neither faster or slower than necessary, he was like a leisurely wild beast.

Soon he stopped tall between the two men crumpled against the wall.

Under the thick, straight eyebrows, eyes as sharp as a forged sword fell on Tristan.

“Take him out.”
